Dagwood

I was getting read for class Thursday, when I realized I'd not yet packed a lunch, and I had to leave in short order or I'd be late. I grabbed the loaf of bread and slathered some peanut butter on a slice, thinking "PB&J!". Only then did I realized I was out of jelly. Hmmm. I had some deli turkey, and some cheese, I could go with that. But you can't un-peanut butter a slice of bread! So I said "hell with it" and made myself a sandwich of peanut butter, turkey, cheese, mayo, and spinach leaves. It turned out to be surprisingly delicious.

1 If you wanted to be really uptight about it, I guess you could painstakingly scrape the peanut butter off the bread and back into the jar with the knife.  (Yes, I have actually done such things.)  But, it's good to hear your impromptu sandwich was a success!

2 Mmm, sounds good.  Actually, I can't think of much of anything that wouldn't taste good with peanut butter.
