Rose Bowl
I was asleep during the Rose Bowl, but I'm told that the Fighting Illini went down to defeat. That's sort of the family school, so I felt oblidged to cheer them on. Ah well, always next year!

Illi who?
My maternal grandad paid for me to attend a football game while I was at U of I, which had had an outstanding team a few years before. I dutifully went, but got nothing out of it.

And my friends made it a point to never attend a single UB football game. We were in good company, as the administration was forced to provide incentives to get enough students to attend games to meet Division I requirements.
